Paris artist residency: Caribbean applicants have until October 15

By the Caculco Editorial Team

Artists from Latin America and the Caribbean, including Haiti, can apply for the Espace Brownstone × Art in Latin America residency in Paris. Applications close October 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Paris time—5:59 p.m. in Haiti.

The selected artist will stay from January 15 to March 31, 2027. The programme provides accommodation, a studio and curatorial support, alongside assistance with visa documentation where possible.

The published call accepts artists of all ages and career stages, working in any medium or discipline. Applicants must cover airfare, meals, local transport, insurance and visa fees. The announcement does not specify an application fee, and visa approval remains the responsibility of the relevant authorities.

Complete applications must be submitted through the organiser’s official form. The selected artist is expected to be notified on November 15.

This is an opportunity for Caribbean artists to develop work and connections abroad, provided they can meet the expenses excluded from the residency.
